Description

The Office is housed in Maison Martin Valliamée, a listed Historical Monument. Gateway to the eastern region, the town of Saint-André provides all the landscape attractions of a rural area marked by the sugar industry. A centre of Tamil culture, with colourful temples and Indian festivals, it also accommodates one of the island's main distilleries.

A centre of Tamil culture, with colourful temples and Indian festivals, it also accommodates one of the island's main distilleries. The MTO also organises cookery workshops to coincide with events (Dipavali, new year's day, etc.) - contact the Office for further information. Open Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 12.30 p.m and from 1.30 p.m.to 5 p.m. The Tourist Office is accessible to people with reduced mobility ( parking , entrance and adapted bathrooms). The internet is free

Itinerary

From Roland Garros Airport, take the expressway to Saint-André. Exit at the first slip road on the left, leading to Cambuston. Then turn right into Chemin du Centre - Maison Martin Valliamé is at the end of the road on the right.
